5 Event Social Media Marketing Tips

When hosting a regular event, take the following steps to ensure success:
- Set up a website to host all of the event related content.
- If you don't have time or inclination to build a set. And you can do as little as hosting a blog. Make sure you set up a Facebook page for the event, or a group.
- Schedule events in Facebook, this sends an update to your fans and friends.
- If you need people to pay, use Eventbrite. Embed the eventbrite code into your website.
- Post your presentation on slideshare and YouTube.
