Recently, Linkedin sent me an email informing me that over 200 of my contacts had changed or accepted new jobs in 2010.
What a brilliant use of existing data to tell a story about the power of a company's services. The email reminds me of Salary.com's famous Mother's Day campaign, where Salary.com estimated the true salary of a parent. Both Linkedin's campaign and Salary.com are examples of using existing data to tell a good story about the value of the services each company provides.
Look through the data you collect on your customers, and find ways to use that data to tell stories that are compelling.
