Innovation Trumps Marketing Promotion

Instead of thinking of better ways to market my company, I think it would be better if I sat back and thought about how what we do is different and more valuable than what other companies do around us.
But also, I think it’s important to look into the marketplace and determine what the corporate leaders are doing, not just in terms of publicity, but also real services that help clients and boost profitability dramatically.
Look at Apple, the company has reinvented several consumer industries in the last few years, innovation rather than promotion is the key to Apple’s success. If you make something people want, even if they don’t know it yet, you won’t have to worry so much about promotion. Though even there, Apple innovation success is its promotion strategy.
