CNN's NewsPulse Tool

I was looking at CNN's NewsPulse tool, the  web page highlights the most important articles published on CNN.com from across its content. Here's a list of the features:

• Lists articles by the post popular, I'm not sure how the popularity rating is generated
• Shows a picture, with headline.
• Indicates when the article was last updated.
• Displays the total number of comments and Facebook shares.
• You can sort the NewsPulse tool by all, or one of the top navigation elements.

CNN's NewsPulse provides a way for readers to discover the most important articles as considered by CNN's audience.
