How To Twitter Using Tweetworks
December 13, 2008
Mike Langford started Tweetworks to improve Twitter. The application enables Tweeple to use Tweetworks as a web based client for Twitter, but at the same time group any tweets within different categories or groups created by users on the Tweetworks site.
All the content is public. You post your tweets within a group, and the tweets appear on a group page, but also on the public twitter site.
Send direct replies to notify users directly, but those replies also appear on the group page. Hashtags are useful in Twitter, but there is a need for groups within twitter to find people you share interests with easily. Tweetworks provides groups for Twitter users.
I’ve already created a group in Tweetworks for the Fortune 500 Business Blogging Wiki at Fortune500BusinessBlogs, where I am looking for more ideas about how we can continue the process of finishing the census of blogs within the Fortune 500, and have bloggers write reviews or interview corporate bloggers at the Fortune 500, and then link to their website from the wiki. Tweet me your ideas on the new Tweetworks group to check out how Tweetworks works.
