Accenture Blog Review For The F500 Blogging Wiki
May 17, 2008
Ben Benson writes another review for the Fortune 500 Business blogging wiki. He reviews the Accenture blogs. He generally finds the blogs to be engaging, though he would like to see more blog posts. Ben gives an overview of the blogs at Accenture, many of them are personal blogs, which means that Accenture may be taking the eco-system approach to blogging taken by many larger technology companies, IBM, Microsoft, HP etc and encouraging many people to blog. Ben was critical of the lack of responsiveness to comments; this appears to be the recurring theme on Fortune 500 blogs across the industry. Ben is also at the University of Oregon, that's six reviews in the last week, five from students at the University.
Also an update to the number of blogs, its back down to 59 or 11.8%, I miscounted, adding the extra Boeing entry, and the H&R Block social media entry. I deleted the additional Boeing entry, and moved H&R Block to the bottom of the list, so we can track companies using social media, but that don’t blog.
