John, Bram & British Redcoat

Lexington is the next town over from our town, and this weekend is an important event in the revolutionary war calendar. April 19th, 1775 was the day the first hostilities started between the British and American rebels on Lexington Green.

We drove out to Battle Road National park to see the reenactments between redcoats and rebels. Here's a picture of me, a wiggly Bram, and a redcoat we were talking with at the British encampment.

Celebrations of the April 19th holiday continue over this weekend and onto Monday. For a complete list of activities check out http://www.battleroad.org/.
