George Colony asks why America can’t build a great car.
He suggests that the big three have lost their spark for innovation.
Social media and the connection to customers through blogging and other elements of social media can help raise the level of innovation from customers. GM’s Fastlane blog has already helped General Motors gain some insights. To me Ford, GM and other car manufacturers have an opportunity with social media, using the medium for correcting customer service issues and gaining insights into what the community wants for car innovation.
Steve Furman's post adds a lot to the conversation.
Interestingly, both Adam & Scott are with car companies. And they both write comment's on George's post.
