Visualizing Four Corporate Blog Tag Clouds

Cornelius Puschmann's post, "What corporate blogs look like: JNJ, Chrysler, Palm, Marriott," is interesting because Cornelius uses IBM's Many Eyes visualization website to manipulate four sets of text from four corporate blogs to build a visualization of the text into a tag cloud for each of the blogs. You can compare the tags by either one word or two word analysis. Using the Many Eyes tool in this way would be useful for keyword analysis for search.

Guidelines

  • Blogging is all about starting a conversation with another individual. I don't mind if someone from a company posts useful and relevant information on my blog. But that information has to be within the context of an existing conversation. I reserve the right to delete or edit content and links from comments on this blog if I think you are just making a sales pitch or trying to increase your SEO standing.
