Many Eyes Visualization Of Business Blogging Factors Within The F500

Reading my RSS feeds tonight I was found Cornelius Puschmann's excellent blog, CorpBlawg, he wrote a post about the Google N-gram corpus, and in the course of discussing the post he mentioned IBM's Many Eyes site, a site for data visualization. Data can be uploaded and used for building many different types of data visualization.

I thought I'd take a crack at manipulating some data from the Fortune 500 Business blogging wiki, and here's the result, a series of bubble maps illustrating the differences between 12 companies that had been reviewed for the Fortune 500 Business blogging wiki using BusinessandBlogging.com's methodology for reviewing companies.

Guidelines

  • Blogging is all about starting a conversation with another individual. I don't mind if someone from a company posts useful and relevant information on my blog. But that information has to be within the context of an existing conversation. I reserve the right to delete or edit content and links from comments on this blog if I think you are just making a sales pitch or trying to increase your SEO standing.
