One of my blogging pals from the west coast, Jen McClure tagged me…with five things you may not know about me:
1) I used to be on the board of directors for the central California Celtic Society in Fresno California, and organized several overflowing Celtic folk concerts.
2) I spent two summers digging a hole in eastern Washington state to look for the rest of 100,000 year old horse skeleton, we did not find anything but made a lot of friends!
3) I was involved in organizing a hunt for meteorites in Eastern Washington, we did not find any, but the trip inspired one person from the hunting party to fund expeditions in North Africa where several Martian meteorites were found.
4) I've driven the Al-Can from Seattle to Anchorage and back, my transmission broke 106 miles outside Anchorage and we were stuck in Alaska for another week waiting for parts, it’s the only time my AAA Plus membership did not entirely cover the 100 miles back to home base.
5) I love swing and contra dancing.
