Competitive Intelligence Event

Just got back from a successful AMA Boston and Boston SCIP meeting at Bentley College in Waltham.  We had over 60 people attend the session on competitive intelligence.  Parmelee Eastman and I have been planning the event since March of this year.  Parmelee developed a script for a competitive intelligence case study, two CI practitioners read out the script and a panel and the audience commented on the case study.  We had a lot of participation, and then we read out the real result of the story.

I came up with the idea for this type of program after seeing a similar event at the PRSA in Seattle a few years ago; I recall the event was very successful, lots of questions and participation from the audience.

  • Blogging is all about starting a conversation with another individual. I don't mind if someone from a company posts useful and relevant information on my blog. But that information has to be within the context of an existing conversation. I reserve the right to delete or edit content and links from comments on this blog if I think you are just making a sales pitch or trying to increase your SEO standing.
