Blog day 2005 is past, and I did not write about the event, but I think Nir’s comments about his roundup of the statistics associated with the event are very interesting. He states that 95% of bloggers are running personal blogs. It’s interesting in the Backbone Media Corporate blogging survey this summer we discovered there were not as many corporate blogs as we expected. However, that should not stop a company from blogging as it’s the readership and your customers that matter more than if your entire industry is blogging. I might even argue that you have an advantage if you are blogging and your competitors are not.
Thanks Stephen.
